Introduction to CONFIDOSE
Plant Growth Regulator
28-epihomobrassinolide, a member of the brassinosteroid family, is a naturally occurring plant hormone known for its unique properties. Its most distinctive feature is its ability to exert profound effects on plant growth and development at extremely low concentrations. This high potency makes it a cost-effective solution for farmers aiming to optimize their yields.
Benefits
1. Enhance Plant Vigor. By stimulating cell division and elongation, it promotes the development of strong, healthy stems and leaves, resulting in taller, more robust plants.
2. Improve Root Growth. It enables plants to establish a more extensive root system that can efficiently absorb nutrients and water from the soil.
3. Enhance Resistance to Environmental Stresses. After applying, it activates a series of physiological and biochemical responses, including the induction of antioxidant enzymes and the regulation of gene expression, which helps plants adapt to stresses.
Recommendations for Use
Crops | Target | Dosage | How to Use |
Cucumber | Plant Growth Regulator | Dilution rate 2000-3000 | Foliar spray After transplanting, spray at the seedling stage, flower bud stage, and fruit development stage. Spray evenly for a total of 3 times. |
Field Demonstrations and Promotion
Numerous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of 28-epihomobrassinolide in promoting plant growth. In a recent field trial conducted by Sunjoy Agro, three treatments were applied during the vegetative growth stage of pea plants. Treatment A utilized 28-epihomobrassinolide 0.004% SL, Treatment B employed another fertilizer commonly used by farmers, and Treatment C served as an untreated control group.
Researchers foliar-sprayed the pea plants twice, on November 13 and November 20, 2024. Plant height was measured on the day of the second spray (referred to as Day 0), and again 7, 14, and 21 days later, with five plants investigated at each treatment site. The changes in plant height over the different time periods were compared.
The results showed that peas treated with 28-epihomobrassinolide showed significantly improved growth compared to untreated plants. Furthermore, researchers found that 28-epihomobrassinolide treatment was effective in reducing the symptoms of stunted growth. In comparison to farmers' common practice treatment, 28-epihomobrassinolide -treated pea plants showed superior growth performance and resilience.
In conclusion, 28-epihomobrassinolide is a powerful tool for pea growers seeking to enhance plant growth and mitigate herbicide damage.
