Delegates from ICAMA visited Sunjoy Agro to investigate Zhejiang’s pesticide export situation

On November 17, 2023, Director Huang Xiuzhu and his delegation from the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, MOA (ICAMA) held a pesticide export symposium in Sunjoy Agro, to gain an in-depth understanding of the current status of pesticide export trade in Zhejiang Province. More than ten leading pesticide export companies in Zhejiang, including Xin'an Chemical, sent their representatives to the meeting, which was also attended by our president, Mr. He Dongsheng and three other representatives. During the meeting, the representatives gave feedback on the new difficulties and problems currently encountered in pesticide exports. They also discussed further relaxing export-specific registration, promoting China's pesticide exports, resisting foreign pesticide competition, alleviating the industry's overcapacity status, and strengthening the inspection of non-compliant factories. Additionally, they provided suggestions and opinions on supervision, new active ingredient registration, and mutual recognition system of registration information, among others. It is expected that the ICAMA will attach great importance to the voices of the enterprises and help them reshape their development path. Director Huang affirmed the entrepreneurial spirit of Zhejiang enterprises and said that he would reflect the demands to competent authorities at all levels. He also promised to work together with them to find new solutions to help enterprises overcome difficulties and help build an agricultural power.
