Working Mother Lactation Room Officially Put Into Use

On January 6, 2015, Sinochem Ningbo held the opening ceremony of the Lactation Room. Ban Yan, vice president of the company and director of the Women's Working Committee, attended the scene and delivered a speech. More than 30 members of the Women's Working Committee, representatives of female workers in various departments, and pregnant and lactating female workers attended the ceremony.
Ms. Ban said in her speech that female employees are an important part of the company and an indispensable force in the company's growth process. Their tenacity and diligence have contributed to the company's development. In 2014, under the guidance of the Ningbo Federation of Trade Unions' "Notice on Carrying out Female Employee Care Actions and Establishing a 5·1 Lactation Room" document, the company's female working committee transformed the original No. 907 meeting room into a warm and comfortable nursing room to facilitate breastfeeding for female workers.
Visiting female employees who gave birth, establishing a nursing room, holding lectures on International Women's Day, and safeguarding the rights and interests of female employees all reflect the company's special care for female employees. In the future, the Women's Working Committee will continue to work around the theme of serving female workers.
After the speech, Ms. Ban unveiled the plaque for the nursing room and distributed caring gift packages provided by the Federation of Trade Unions to the pregnant and breastfeeding female workers present.
