Control Melon Downy Mildew by ROWSONG
Fungicide
Downy mildew causes severe damage due to its wide range of host crops, rapid inter-host transmission, and high resistance to fungicides. Warm and humid weather is more favorable for disease prevalence.
In Ningbo, researchers from Sunjoy Agro conducted research on melon test plots and used different fungicides to control downy mildew. Melon downy mildew mainly affects the leaves. At the seedling stage, the infected young leaves produce small spots like water stains and then expand into light brown spots. When the humidity is high, a layer of gray-purple mold will grow on the back of the leaves. When adult plants are infected, light yellow spots appear on the leaf surface and spread polygonally along the leaf veins, later, turning into light brown spots. During the rainy season, disease spreads rapidly and yields can drop by 30-50%.
It is important to strengthen overall field management to prevent and control late blight. In addition, the disease can be prevented by chemical treatment. Sunjoy Agro recommends the use of Rowsong (Cymoxanil 56% + Cyazofamid 14% DF) for foliar spray. The product has the following features:
1. High content: good control effect on Oomycetes diseases.
2. Golden ratio: Cymoxanil: Cyazofamid = 4:1, the synergistic effect is remarkable.
3. Excellent curative effect: comprehensive protection and long-lasting effect.
4. Advanced formulation: DF formulation disintegrates quickly in water and has a wider and more uniform coverage after foliar application.
